Trails

Bike Down Mountains will let you post reviews of trails you’ve visited, whether it’s your local track or somewhere you’ve just travelled miles to ride. This will include details from all over the UK - Scotland, England, Wales, N Ireland - as well as abroad. Expect to see reviews from Epping Forest to Coed-y-Brenin, Glentress to the Laggan Wolftrax, and places such as Epping Forest, the Witches trails in Fort William and Dalbeattie in Dumfries and Galloway.

Parts

You can post news and reviews on all the new parts and components you’re trying out on your bikes. From new bars and stems, saddles and derailleurs right down to frames and suspension, you can let everyone else know how you got on with it and point people in the right direction next time they upgrade.

Kit

We don’t only spend money on our bikes, we need the kit to go with it too. From cycling shoes and cleats, to shorts to cover our behinds, up to waterproof jackets for the nasty days and helmets to protect your head. This section lets you tell everyone about that great new set of gloves you’ve got or the horrendous bib shorts you’ve just thrown out.

Maintenance

We plan to have a huge database of common maintenance tasks where people share their tips and procedures for doing anything from changing their brake blocks, fitting a chain or changing their cables right up to replacing your headset, fitting a new fork and building a bike from scratch.

Bikes

Last but not least, full bike reviews. Want to know what to buy - from the likes of Specialized, GT, Kona, Yeti, Santa Cruz, Marin and Mongoose - well let us know here what you ride and how you’ve specced it so that you can inspire others to get out and on their bikes!
